This book was written by the missionary, Rev. Jacob Chamberlain, M.D., D.D., who spent nearly 50 years in India ministering among the Telugu people and introducing them to Christianity. As a trained medical doctor and seminarian he was uniquely equipped to present a Christian witness to the nation of India and to persuade the Telugu people to give up their idols and turn to Christ.
