Names of printer and bookseller supplied by Pollard.

According to Pollard, Eliot's Court Press printed gatherings A-F and William Stansby printed ²F and H-I.

A variant exists where the ²F gathering has been correctly signed G.

This tract was written when many were advocating the abandonment of the Virginia colony, and is an earnest plea for its continuance. It gives the first account of the shipwreck of Sir George Somers, Sir Thomas Gates, and Captain Newport, in 1609, upon the Bermudas or Somers Island. Cf. Church.
