Comprises a lengthy communication from the First Church to the Tabernacle Church, followed by an appendix with earlier correspondence between the two churches, concerning the request of Mrs. Martha Baker to be granted a dismission from the Tabernacle Church to join the First Church, and the excommunication of William Brown, Jr. by the Tabernacle Church.
