"The Kevin Rim and Sweetgrass Hills, areas of Bureau of Land Management (BLM) land within the West HiLine Resource Management Plan (RMP), were known to contain high value raptor habitats as well as important oil, gas, and hardrock mineral resources. Currently, the Kevin Rim area is encompassed by a developed oil and gas field, and the East Butte of Sweetgrass Hills is being explored for possible larger scale extraction.
