Following the first 2 annual reports (January and December 1866), the Northern Counties' Asylum for Idiots and Imbeciles was called the Royal Albert Asylum.

Hibbert, Edward Lawrence, Andrew Fairburn, James Diggens), list of trustees, presidents, officers and central committee members, a report of the general annual meeting at Sheffield on 10 October 1890, the report of the central committee (Winmarleigh, chairman), the report of the medical superintendent (G. E. Shuttleworth), cases of improvement, the auditor's report (W. G. Welch), financial and statistical statements (James Diggens, G.E. Shuttleworth), report of speeches of deputation to the Lord President of the Council at the Privy Office, Whitehall, February 12 1890, list of clergymen and ministers, presents received, census of idiots and imbeciles a list of places that inmates came from and a short article about Brunton House, Scotforth, Lancaster - the asylum's home for "special private pupils", illustrated with 2 views.
