Following the first 2 annual reports (January and December 1866), the Northern Counties' Asylum for Idiots and Imbeciles was called the Royal Albert Asylum.

Consists of a list of central committee members, a supplementary report of the central committee (E. D. de Vitré, chairman), the report of the Commissioners in Lunacy (Greville Howard, James Wilkes), items from local newspapers about the asylum, statistical statements and a summary of contributions (James Diggens)
