Francis Jackson writes to William Lloyd Garrison to reiterate a proposition he had made the previous evening, which he feared was not fully apprehended by Garrison. Jackson proposes that he purchase a house which to rent to Garrison at an annual cost of "six per cent" of the total cost of the house, taxes on the house, and the cost of any additions or repairs made to the house.
