Samuel May thanks Thomas Wentworth Higginson for the full replies to his questions. May acknowledges the legitimacy of the later annulment of the committee decision [not to attack the courthouse], but says that the minority who was not present for the later vote should not be held responsible for the end result. May thanks Higgins again for clearing these points up, particularly in a time of difficulty.
