Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

Sarah Pugh writes this letter in "Park St. Bristol in the dear little room which a year since you occupied and I now rejoice in!" Sarah Pugh is tempted to offer herself as a traveling companion to Caroline Weston on her voyage homeward, but her happy visit at the Estlins is delaying her return until the end of next month. Sarah Pugh will see the collection made here for the Boston bazaar. Pugh suggests designating this bazaar by some name that would make the English people understand its national character.
