Edition Notes

Holograph, signed.

The visit of Sarah Pugh's sister and brother to Boston gave her the opportunity to greet Maria Weston Chapman at the annual festival. Sarah Pugh has been working at the anti-slavery fair in Philadelphia. Maria Weston Chapman's promise to come to Philadelphia this winter was hailed with delight. Richard Davis Webb has arranged that Sarah Pugh will be sent a picture of Daniel O'Connell. Sarah Pugh's sister, Mrs. Isaac Pugh, can bring the picture.
