The first of three statements relative to the United Illinois and Wabash Land Companies' Memorial of Jan. 13, 1797, intended for distribution to members of Congress. When the memorial was reprinted, the three statements were included, paged continuously as p. 9-26 (Evans 32977). Cf. Sabin, entry 84577. Folwell's edition of the Memorial and of the statements as separately issued are not recorded by Evans, but are entered collectively as entry 32977 by Shipton & Mooney.
