A science fiction story that has action, adventure, murder, humor, pathos, and love. Written in the first
person by a female android, Arda., she is an agent for the Terran Federal Bureau of Investigation and is assigned to guard the major Galactic writers of the six galactic races, meeting on Earth ( in Manhattan !!). The meeting is being chaired by the famous Earth writer, Fortizak. The other writers are from the Locrian, Naxian, Samian, Crotonite, and Cephallonian planets. A death threat has been made against the writers. The plot involves stolen artifacts from an ancient seventh species, the possible originator of civilization in the entire galaxy. As an android, Arda has a superior physical strength and computer abilities than the ordinary humans. Her positronic brain is wired to think independently, and she is also capable of emotions, and falling in love ! Arda's adventures take off, when a murder takes place at the writers' meeting.

Janet Asimov is a science fiction writer, who was married to Isaac Asimov from 1973 until his death in 1992.
