This is The Children's Weekly Reader Book Club Edition. Although this edition states "First Edition" on the copyright page, it is not a First Edition. The book is also marked as a Book Club in several places in and on the book and jacket. It is printed in cheap paper that is normally browned and somewhat brittle. The real First Edition is printed on better quality paper and has no Book Club statements in or on the book, it also states "First Edition". The First Edition text was copied to make this Book Club edition and they did not bother to change the text on the copyright page. This happened on many Weekly Reader Book Club editions, none of which are True First Editions.
