Subject: The Mahavamsa, the world's longest continuous history record
The Mahavamsa, the world's longest continuous history record ,covers almost every event that has taken place over a history of over 2000 years in Sinhala. the documents covers important events from time to time, the Mahavamsa is the only document that covers such a long period of time.
The Mahavamsa, an epic poem written in the Pali language, begins in 543 BC, from the time Prince Vijaya landed in sinhalese country (Ceylon ) Thereafter all events are recorded until 1815 when Ceylon was completely subjugated to British rule. There is no such document in the history of the world.
