While in New York yesterday, James Miller M'Kim showed Oliver Johnson the letter sent to him by Maria Weston Chapman, and he was much pleased with the expressions of her appreciation of him. While James Miller M'Kim quotes "thanks to men of noble mind is honourable meed," he thinks that something more than thanks would in this case be "still more honorable."
