Holograph, signed
Eliza Lee Cabot Follen has received delightful letters from Maria [Weston Chapman], which she would rejoice to read to Anne Warren Weston. Follen hopes to see Anne W. Weston on Wednesday, when Lucia [Weston] and Emma [Weston] will spend the day and night. Follen is especially anxious to see all the children's books that come in the French box. Maria Weston Chapman told Follen "that she had made an exchange with the editors of La Ruche for my Childs Friend." Follen comments: "My greatest wish at present is to see you all..."
