I read this book many years ago and still find it an invaluable guide to the basic premise of the Dhamma that the Buddha taught. If you're looking for an introduction to the dhamma this is a good first read. It should go hand in hand with a good meditation practice. A wonderful book from a knowledgeable theravada monk.
