Text contains the relation of the visit of Duarte Lopes, a Portuguese, to the Congo in the year 1578. It was written by Fillipo Pigafetta from the dictation of Lopes, and was published in Rome in 1591 under the title: Relatione del reame di Congo et delle circonvicine contrade. Latin translation is by Casiodoro de Reina.
