Collection of librettos for opéras-comiques, opéras comiques envaudevilles, and parodies performed at the Théâtre de la Foire-Saint Germain and the Théâtre de la Foire Saint-Laurent mostly by the Opéra-Comique, Paris, 1721-1722 .
Texts for all works by A.R. Le Sage, d'Orneval, and L. Fuzelier in collaboration; music for the 2nd through 4th works by J.-C. Gillier, for the 5th through 8th works, by J.-J. Mouret. See Brenner, C.D. French plays, 1700-1789 (1947).
Each libretto preceded by an engraved frontispiece depicting a scene from the opera.
Signatures: pi² A-S¹² (pi1 blank).
"Table des airs," consisting of 156 melodies for solo voice, unaccompanied: 56 p. of engraved plates, at end (signed A-C⁸ D⁴); some identified by title, others with French text underlay; airs 142-156 by J.-J. Mouret.
Includes lists of "acteurs" without named casts for each libretto.
