Highly commended by C H Spurgeon, this classic work on Joseph by William Taylor (1829-1895) has been distilled from evening messages given during his twenty year pastorate of Broadway Tabernacle, New York. Not a formal commentary but incorporating a great deal of background information reflecting archaeological and historical scholarship then current, no apparent difficulty in the narrative is avoided and each section ends with very straightforward applications.
